Delete your account & data

You can delete your Apperah account at any time. When you do, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data within 30 days — except limited records we are required by law to keep or need to defend legal claims (see the Privacy Policy).

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

Open the Apperah app and sign in.
Go to Settings → Your data.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your personal data — profile, messages, lists, plans, photos, and activity — is deleted or anonymised. Some records are kept where the law requires or are anonymised in place rather than erased.

Option 2 — By email

If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@apperah.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 17.

If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple

Deleting your Apperah account removes the profile data we received from your social login provider (name, email address, profile picture), and we do not reuse it. You can additionally revoke Apperah’s access in your provider’s security settings (for example, Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites).

What is deleted

Account and profile information (name, email, username, avatar, bio).
Content you created (lists, messages, plans, reviews, photos).
Friend and follower connections and group memberships (removed or anonymised so they no longer appear to you or to others).
Preferences and settings. (We keep the dated record that you gave or withdrew consent — the law requires us to be able to demonstrate it — but once your profile is anonymised it no longer links to any identifying details.)
Your analytics link: if you opted in to analytics, those events are tied to your account ID — never your name or email. When your account is deleted, your name, email, and other identifying details are erased from our records, so remaining analytics events point to an identifier that no longer connects to any identifying information we hold.
